Helpers Of God’s Precious Infants
Did you know that abortions are performed only 8 blocks away from our Cathedral Basilica? First reactions to this might be shock, outrage, or sadness. Rather, this close proximity of good and evil is a great opportunity for hope and change. Helpers of God’s Precious Infants can help to make this happen. On March 21, 2010, and on the third Sunday of every month, you are invited to the 8:00 a.m. Mass and prayer vigil at the Cathedral Basilica. After Mass, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed for Adoration. All who are able are invited to pray the rosary during a peaceful procession to the abortion facility at Forest Park and Boyle. Upon return to the Cathedral, all participate in Benediction. The event concludes at 9:45. For more information contact Maureen Kane at 647-6019.
Stations Of The Cross
Stations of the Cross will be performed every Friday for the remainder of Lent. The Living Stations Of The Cross will be performed on Friday March 26 at 2:00 in the Church. There was a flyer that was circulated that had a different date. Please disregard this flyer and join us on March 26.

ACRE Test Results Have Arrived
The test results for the annual ACRE Religion curriculum assessment have arrived. This test is given annually to 5th and 8th grade students across the country. Little Flower Catholic School performed very well on this test. The two classes exceeded the national averages in all areas with the exception of one area, in which, our students met the average. These results indicate that the Religion curriculum at Little Flower is very strong. We are very proud of our students, teachers, and our program!

Reminders About Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures
Morning Drop-Off
Arch Terrace is a one-way street going south. If children are dropped off on the east curb, children should exit on the left side of the vehicle. When cars stop in the middle of the street or on the west curb, students must exit their vehicles on the right side of the car and proceed down the sidewalk to the crossing guard. Parents may not drive onto the parking lot under any circumstances. No cars are allowed on the parking lot during the school day, except in the case of a funeral.
Dismissal
Students who walk home exit the building by the rear doors nearest the church and walk straight to Arch Terrace or walk between the school and church to Boland Place. Students who ride home in cars exit the building through the rear north doors. Patrol boys and girls will direct students to their cars. Any child not picked up within ten minutes after dismissal should return to the school office to call a parent and wait. A late fee is assessed for these students, based on time of pick-up. This includes mid-day dismissal for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students.
Dismissal Pick-Up
Parents enter the parking lot at the northernmost Arch Terrace entrance and park in the angled parking spaces. The children walk to their cars under the direction of the student safety patrol.
