Little Flower Trivia Night
This year’s Trivia Night will have many fun activities in addition to the trivia competition. We will have Heads/Tails, 50/50, Food, Drink, and an AUCTION! There are many wonderful items up for auction. Some of these items include a Principal for the day package, front row pews and reserved parking for Christmas and Easter Masses, front row seating for our Christmas and Spring Music performances, 4 tickets to the Transiberian Orchestra with dinner at J.Buck’s, 2 Club Level Rams Tickets, an Organizing Gift Certificate, Holiday Inn Pizza Party, Scrapbooking Basket, Mitchell James Salon Men’s Package, Mitchell James Salon Day of Beauty Package, and an Aya Sofia Restaurant Certificate. I want to also inform everyone that the Little Flower Trivia Night has already been a huge success. All of the tables are now reserved. What a wonderful response in support of Little Flower! If you are unable to participate please keep in mind that this will be an annual event and consider participating in the future.
Spanish Program
The newly created Spanish program is almost ready to begin. We are targeting the week of November 2 to begin the program. The class will be offered one day a week. The students will be divided into two groups. One group will consist of 1st-4th graders and the other group will be 5th-8th graders. The class will be held from 3:10-4:00. Pay attention for more information later this week.
Parent-Teacher Conference Sign-Up Sheets
If you were unable to attend the Children’s liturgy Mass you can still sign up for Parent Teacher Conferences. The sign up sheets are available in the office. You may stop in or message us to reserve a time.
After Care Registration
Please contact Mr. Baird if you plan on utilizing a Little Flower “After School Care Program.” As we are finalizing the details we need to have an idea of how many children would be attending. The costs will be competitive and in most cases superior to those of other care centers.
H1N1 Vaccine Update
Parents my apologies, as this morning I was informed that due to shortages of the vaccine we will have to wait at least until the week of November 2 to receive and administer our vaccines. As I get any new updates I will let you know. Also, there was some apparent confusion with the questionnaire form sent home by the Health Department, we will be sending a new updated form home with the Tuesday Packet, please complete and return the form ASAP.
