Please Support The Maggie Welby Foundation The Maggie Welby Foundation is a wonderful charity that assists families with tuition and financial responsibilities as well as offering grants to children and families in need of assistance with bills, athletic opportunities, medical needs, etc. This foundation was created in the memory of Maggie Welby, a seven-year old girl who was suddenly taken away from her family in 2005. The foundation will have a trivia night on Saturday Feb. 13, at DuBourg High School. The foundation will also be participating in the St. Patrick’s Day run on Saturday March 13, 2010. If you are interested in either of these events or for more information please visit www.maggiewelby.org Interested In A Tax Credit For Catholic Education? Voices for Children speaks on behalf of abused and neglected children in St. Louis city foster care. Our vision is that every child lives in a safe, nurturing home where he or she has the chance to reach his or her potential. Voices For Children advocates make this happen in child time, where a day can seem like an eternity. No specific experience or education is necessary to become a court appointed special advocate (CASA) – just a desire to help and a willingness to speak up. Call 314.552.2352 to learn about volunteering with Voices’ City CASA program. Giving hope and a voice…One child at a time.
