Biographical Information:
Teaching Experience: Before coming to Little Flower in 2018 I spent one year at St. Norbert and eight years at St. Rose Philippine Duchesne. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a BA in social services (1993) which I used to work with developmentally disabled adults and children. After having my one and only son in 2000 I stayed home with him until I began teaching. I attended a part time program at Saint Louis University to complete an elementary teacher certification program in two years. I am certified in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Early Childhood Special Education. I taught Spanish, first grade and fourth grade before making the switch to early childhood where I have been ever since. I adore working with the little ones because it is such a great feeling to watch them get so excited about learning! I have been married to my husband, Todd, for over 20 years and we have our one amazing son, Dalton. Todd is a social studies teacher and swimming coach in the Hazelwood school district. I love reading, animals, and walking and enjoy taking our two dogs on long walks with my family when time allows. I am very happy to be at Little Flower.
